Why have you two fitted?

Got the same antenna myself fitted on the console railing. Not entirely convinced about it, but I'm going to move it to the stern and get it higher on a light pole.

What's the performance been like so far... or is it early days?

I can't quite make out what it is in you photo, but you seem to have a metal pole mounted on the side of the A frame about 6" from the starboard aerial. I'm no electronics/radio expert but I thought that was a bit of a no no as far as absorbing your transmissions and affecting performance.

It's for a flag for when I went to lake Garda it can come off now but should only cause a small shadow on wave pickup plus I use that side for the AIS
