Horse for courses. I like the fact that it is quiet and reliable plus it can troll around all day without issue.
If I wanted outright power then you are perfectly correct, a DI 2 stroke is lighter and has a better power to weight ratio.
A Suzi 90 still pushes my fairly heavy 5.8m up to over 30 knots though!
