Lowrance HDS SD card max size

Anyone know what the largest size SD card the new HDSs can cope with, looked in various manuals and they do not state a max size. Some elctronics have a 2 Gb limit.

Size limit on memory cards usually has to do with the file system used to address it.

I'd be surprised if Lowrance used a system that had a 2Gb limitation.

That said, I haven't found the spec, either. Perhaps a phone call is in order?

And they answered thus;

"Thank you for contacting us.

Please feel free to contact us if we may be of further assistance.

If you have any further questions feel free to contact us at www.lowrance.com, through the contact us section.

That should suffice for my logging needs methinks.

32 Gig should allow you to self-chart most of the Atlantic.

Thanks for posting.
