Lowrance beeping and flashing!!

I have a 330C and it has started to cycle through its light levels and beep at the same time! Seems to be a problem with a dirty / problem connector under the ON button. Has anyone else had the problem? Has anyone taken a unit like this apart? It is 3.5 years old.....

We had exactly this problem with 2 LMS-332c's. They kept flashing and beeping. I think the keypads were shorting. Both were replaced under warranty. They would have been around the same build dates as yours, I would imagine.
