JRC 500f GPS/FF - Factory Reset?

Hi guys,
Just acquired a new boat with a JRC 500F fitted. Some twit (not me!) was messing with the buttons and managed to mess up the display settings, the fishfinder has gone crazy and I can't get the depth to show

Does anyone know if there's a factory reset/default settings reset on this? And if so, how do I apply it? Manual didn't throw up much info : (

Thanks all

Can the supplying dealer sort it out?

What boat did you get?

It's a 'new to me' boat 2002 Sealine S23 - So no dealer to deal with. I'm sure it's just a matter of pressing a few buttons, i'll give the manual another read and see if anything comes up

Hi, If there is no software reset (button presses) then a hardware reset would be possibel as the main PCB has a back up battery (which may have failed). This would require the unit to be opened and the battery disconnected for a few seconds, the battery is probably soldered to the PCB.

Hi guys,
Thanks for your comments. I got a reply from JRC themselves showing how to do the reset on other models, but didn't work on the JRC500F

I got playing about with some buttons and the reset procedure for for the JRC500F is: PRESS 'ON', 'MENU' & 'MOB' at the same time, then follow instructions from there, just incase anyone else may need to know in the future
