Jono Gorton's fault.......

........for taking me out in the rough stuff over the weekend. My dash mount for me Garmin 76Map has busted. The fault has occurred on the bracket at the point where one tightens the mount into position. To be honest I may have bashed into it causing it to give way however, I think that when securing it tightly it cracked. Three options - 1. Buy a new one(£20). 2. Send it to Garmin for an opinion and FOC replacement or 3. Sue Jono.

Which do you think I should pursue ?

p.s

If anyone has a dash mount they want to sell - let me know.

The same thing happen to me, as Charles would say on a real rib (St Malo cruise 2002 ) a new one for the Garmin 176C would have cost me £40.00 so I wrote to Garmin explained how it happened and got a new bracket FOC by return)

You have nothing to lose . Write to Garmin and send them the broken bracket
