Icom IC-M31

After reading posts on this forum and other reviews I've decided to get a Icom IC-M31 radio.
Anyone know of a supplier for the Icom IC-M31 that can beat 135.32 inc VAT & Delivery ?
This is from www.lifetec360.com are they a good reliable site to use ?
Before I get my wallet out any last comments on them ?

Thanks

Print the advert off and take it into your local chandlers and ask them to price match it. They might squirm a little but bet they take the cash

Sound a good price to me. I have just paid 139.95 inc Vat & 12v chargeing lead from Pumpkin Marine. As Pete says, get a local outlet to match the price.

Icom M31

No idea who they are, looks all fine and dandy, and it is reasuring that they do not grey import but and I have been building boats and selling marine equipment from all major manufacturers for over 20 years and this is the first time I have heard of them but that is VERY cheap for M31 all "Icom Dealers" will not better 139.99 inc. But you pays your money and takes you chance!

PS
I do know of an alternative (with identical specifications & performance) that may be of interest that is only 99.99 inc at the mo PM me if you would like details.

Why do you both suggest to go to a local outlet is it anything to do with the warrenty?

Should anything happen does it go back to the supplier or Icom ?

It's just that I like to buy localy if I can. I prefer to go and get something and bring it straight home rather than waiting for the delivery man.

Absolutely, after a while they get to know you. Do register the warranty card with ICOM if you want the extended 3 year warranty.

Well maybe I am the wrong person to comment on that one!!!

Just a couple of things to bear in mind.
Radio is our core business, we dont build radio as an add on to another business.
We have been building radio for 40 years.
We are the only company to offer 3 year warranty.
And we have nice people like me working for us!

Regards
