Okey Dokey

you'd be on then!

I'll as Brian to PM you the costs of hi storage cos it wouldn't be Kool for me to discuss his business!

How do you want to do this do you want a staight cash bet with me or do you want the loser to pay for Brians moorings for a month?

Any of you other Icom fans out there fancy putting your money where your fingers are

unfortunately Whiteshooz's fees went up by 33% and his complimentary launch assistance was withdrawn at 12:36 on the 27th of this month .

Right Stuart here is the bet.

I personally will cover the months fees @ his normal rates (papaerwork to confirm) if:-

The unit fail within the next 12 months.
If the failure is NOT due to neglect or abuse and the unit is looked after in the way we recomend.

If the unit goes for the next 12 months with out problem.
You cover the fee's, eat lots of cold humble pie, make no more of your snide remarks about Icom and agree that you were just unlucky and maybe it could have somehow been your fault not ours!

How does that sound?

Regards

No conditions Jon if it fails it fails you pay. If it doesn't then I pay.

I detest Icom If the Unit doesn't fail then I'll pay my money and you can shove your Humble pie where the sun don't shine.

Whoa, guys. How the hell did we get here and why I am I embroiled in this spat ? You're as bad as the spotty oiks, and if there are any more posts on this thread, your computers will go up in the loft for a month !

I have already been the beneficiary of a good turn and there is no justification whatsoever for me to benefit any further. I will therefore send a cheque for 200 to the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Appeal by the end of this week and would hope to receive a cheque for 100 this time next year from the person whose assertion proves to be incorrect.

Stuart, you would know better than anybody how anal I am about cleaning the tubes, hull and stainless & flushing the engine through, as you have graciously helped on most occasions that I have used the boat from Saxon, but I think it's only fair that Icom have the opprtunity to state what is required maintenance and what would be deemed neglect.

For the record, I would normally spend between 40-60 minutes cleaning the boat as above, after each use but do not spray/soak/or clean the radio or GPS. Is there some sort of maintenace/cleaning schedule to which I shoiuld be adherimng

Brian

Sorry mate.

If everyone was as "anal" as you would would have even less failures than we do now.

I happy to take the bet I just had to make sure the radio is looked after and not abuse otherwise it not a real test, I think you understand where I am coming from.

"let the games commence"

Regards
