Ideally we should avoid Amazon altogether

Leaving aside the non payment of UK taxes.

Every sale to Amazon is a sale lost to our shops. If we cherish quality retail outlets giving sound advice we need to spend our cash there .

Im sure many wont agree tho !!!

Not everything sold through Amazon is sold by Amazon. Very few things that I now buy via Amazon would not have benefited the profits of UK local shops and the UK tax man.

Exactly the same as with ebay. You sound a bit hypocritical there jambo.

Member of the bear blue rib club I guess means that you buy through ebay in the same way that many buy from 3rd parties via amazon. Both company not fulfilling their fair share of tax payments.

If anything, ebay is worse as I am sure there are quite a few third parties running ebay businesses who do not declare their profits on their tax returns - not that I am implying that the seller of your rib was selling it as a business for profit and thus should have declared it as income.

Except much of what is sold on amazon does end up being supplied by our British shops.

Anyway enough of that. What can I get with my 50 amazon vouchers that I can use for/on my new sib?
