Heatshrink size

Back with another question, what size heatshrink is needed to easily go over 1.5mm 12v wire and it's protective outer ?
Also need size of heatshrink as above but ends have been crimped onto spade connectors
Regards
Graham

Its supposed to shrink to about 50% of its original size, so check the diameter of the crimped connector bits and work back. You could just buy a pack of mixed sizes cheap on the bay of fleas and then your sorted.

Use adhesive lined heat shrink for marine use.

I bought this kit - you will probably only use 2 of the sizes, but always handy to have

Maplins sell 3,6,9,12mm adhesive lined by the metre & not very expensive, buy one of each, it's handy stuff to have around. Make sure it's the adhesive lined though, as they sell both sorts.
