GPS position backup

Any good programs for backing up positions from a Garmin plotter? I was using GPSU but now way beyond the 100 waypoints of the freeware version and don't want all the fripperies of the shareware version or its cost.
All I need is a simple program that will save waypoint detaals and allow upload back into the plotter.
