Arrived today from China ( 9 days ? - better than some UK stuff !) so I will set up in the garden to make sure its all OK & then onto the boat at the weekend ( hopefully ) . The feed from the GPS to the radio packed up on sunday so I can look at that too while I've got the back off the panel ! currently just 'NO GPS INFORMATION' on the display ...... typical.

Memo to self: must nick Blackroady's boat before the week-end.

PS Was that your boat in Yarmouth a week last Friday? If so, you don't need a tracker: just employ me! Scurvey Crew and I popped over for supper (nachos!) but you weren't in The Wheatsheaf unfortunately.

Dont think it was me ( unless they nicked it, filled the tank & put it back before I noticed !)

There is another blue tubed Shearwater in/ around Yarmouth & newer & with a nice Verado in the back .

Maybe I should just try swapping them & see if anyone notices that ?

Little light on the side seems to flashing a bit quicker than every 4 secs - any suggestions ?

Also I have found that sometime you need to hold down the on off button for a few sec to get the unit working once it has a GPS fix the light should in fact go off. It will then come on when it is busy (ie. texting you back etc)

So call the unit it sends a text back including speed, on the iPhone tap the text & it brings up a map as in the pictures.
