go pro lookalike

I see Lidl have a go pro lookalike action camera on offer next week sometime or other for circa £80. Anybody any experience of these from past purchases?? I seem to remember someone buying one in the past but can't find it on here.

Seems fine to me. Though I've nowt to compare it to. It seems to mist up in the waterproof case a bit but I seem to remember someone on here saying that they all do that and that you need to get the inside good and dry before sealing the case ( like with a car's heater blowing A/C).

To be honest if I had my time over again I'd prolly spend the extra 20 on the rubbermat gopro.

The software used to modify the video once you have shot it makes the GoPro worth while. Of course you can purchase or download other types of software. (Note: I am not familiar with the brand the OP is looking at.)

As to moisture, make sure to put it in the case in a dry environment, and if some humidity is present put a desiccant pack inside.

we have downloaded the go pro software for use with a black edition go pro that we have access to but it does seem to be a bit of a faff and it keeps crashing on my computer. Far less trouble with video in Jpeg from our hand held cameras.

I have the lidl one. Use it as a camera and video above and below water, diving, mountain biking and ribbing. Owned 6 months now after reading recommendations on here, very impressed so far. 32gb micro sd card is only thing I've bought extra. Also add a tie back chord as well as the mount if using on the rib... don't ask!
