Go pro HD cam....

So , I'm going to get one at last ! But now what I want to do is be able to go in a shop and see what I want to buy to fit my set up . BUt I dont seem able to do this...

Clearly the camera , the waterproof housing , then what ?

I have an area that it 2.5 x 5cm on the top of my afame ..will this be enough to stick anything to ?

Its either that or the roll bar mount and hope i can 'bend the mount' out by 2mm to fit my frame.

Does anyone know of 'the deal' going of where to get this from?

See RAM mounts website. Base plate with 1" ball, GoPro mount with 1" ball and double 1" ball clamp gives 360 degree rotation of camera. Base plate will have to be bolted to A frame (should just fit your space). All metal parts are coated stainless so no rusting. Total cost for three parts will be less than 30. Just fitted mine last week and works perfectly.

yep - is a very nice looking bit of engineering, but I fear overkill for my needs ...

Small and simple is what I am after ...more sticky pads on a 5cm ss tube if that will work ( with a teather to be sure )

I'm still undecided myself. I like the camera but with the variety of boats we take in I'm not sure which kit to get to give the best flexibility for use.

Which is the latest or best model ? Where's the best price ATM for a kit with mounts/case ?
