getting my dcs set up

can anyone help need to get mmi or imm number to set up my dsc think thats what i need thanks

Robbie,

You need to apply for a Ships Radio license - you will then be issued with an MMSI number. The license it now free if you apply online at http://www.ofcom.org.uk/licensing/olc/

You also need to do a 1 day RYA course to get your VHF operators certificate otherwise you can't operate the radio legally.
