Garmin software update

Maybe a silly question.. but....
I have version 3.10 on my 5015 chartplotter do I need to install all the updates eg 3.10-4.10,then 4.10-4.20 then 4.20 to 4.30, or will just the final update be enough to bring it up to date?

I asked this of Garmin some time ago...albeit regarding another of their products. They said that software updates brought the whole package and not just a bolt on revision. So, you should be able to go straight to the latest version and ignore all the in-between steps.

Usually cumulative updates. Any prerequisites will be shown with the update details before download.

Yeah, it normally doesn't matter how old your software is in the main unit, you can update it in one fell swoop. However, with my 3006C you need to make sure the attached aerial is up to at least a certain level of software for some updates.
