If it has an "s" on the end it has a sounder.

If it has an "xs" on the end, it will have then new CHIRP technology.

In the US, they offer a 740 and 720. The only difference is that the 740 comes with preloaded Bluechart maps...I was always told, get the 720, and buy the map card as they are better than the maps than come with the 740.

Think you'll find its the model numbering system to differentiate between models for the US or Europe.

The 750s has inbuilt charts, 720s doesn't- it needs a chart card ( I got a 720s and the sealer supplied a free card) they are a great bit of kit. Very happy with mine

Having fitted a 720s at new year I finally got out on the boat yesterday and I was very pleased with my new piece of kit. Very simple to use, excellent in sunny and cloudy weather and thank goodness I can't report on how it reacts to rain because it was a glorious day.
