Garmin 498?

Hi

I have acquired a Garmin 498 Which after a bit of research appears to be a discontinued US model. My question is does anybody else have one and does it run on the latest G2 Vision maps or just the older Blue Chart G2?

By the off chance is anybody selling a data card with the English Channel charts on? Spotted some on ebay but appear to be non G2 type.

I do have an unused g2 chart - covers the entire UK & Ireland. Part no 010-C0851 - 00Jul 07
Clearly this is Jul07 charts - still in origninal Gamin plastic box.
If you are interested happy to accept a sensible offer.
