I would go for Standard Horizon.....based on my personal experiences of excellant customer service is something does go wrong with your bit of kit

So they do work with the Gecko!

Gecko and D S Developements make the "Adaptor Comm" work with both the Icom and the SH kit, its only a matter of changing the lead from the PTT box to the radio........Simples!

Its so easy even I can do it!

Blatant touting here, but I can supply the Standard Horizon GX-1100e (just hit the shelves) for £145 including delivery, and the GX-1500e for £158 inc delivery. Both available in black or white.
