Castoldi Jet operating system

Is anyone on here currently using a Castoldi 'computer' control system for their Jet?

When we rebuilt the Pac last year we bought all new components from Castoldi. We began experiencing an issue whereby after a few hours operating the computer unit lost its settings and drove the bucket up and and down by itself. Turn off, cool down for a few hours then reset and all okay again. Castoldi have changed the unit as they felt it was overheating

The previous unit we had with the boat (which had been bypassed and a simple up /down button arrangement installed) showed signs of fire damage when we took it out . I have also heard other/similar stories.... Has anyone else here experienced similar?

The new unit is no different from the other....i.e no modification that I can see /know of. Would be very keen to hear if any others have had issues......these things aren't cheap! Esp. when paying for import /export etc!!

Go back to the buttons. Most Castoldi's that I know have had the 'collective replaced with buttons.

Call me old fashioned but I don't understand why you need a computer to operate a Jet Drive? All you are doing is buying something that is bound to fail.

Cant stop I have an urgent desire to buy a 4 by 4 with an electric handbtake not
