Still sticking with the same brand?

Not that there is anything wrong with that brand, but you need to break a run of bad luck that beats all odds and reasonable predictions.

The bog-standard fixed VHF that Garmin are turning out is getting excellent reports.

Having just got a new HX851, I think GD reckons we're covered for failure and might as well persevere - for the moment
