Silicon the connection

Buy some insulated but connectors for the size wire. Fill both ends with 100% silicone waterproof caulk. Put the wires in and crimp. Now you have a waterproof connection. I've used it for boat and underground connections for many years successfully.

there are gel filled connection boxes, available from good electrical wholesalers, or online, in various sizes, which use standard strip connector, and are submersible....

The OP is looking for a quick connect/disconnect method & has ruled out butt connectors, a potted JB wouldn’t fall in the quick category either.
