C map chart knackered?

Just plugged my English Channel C map chart into my Navman GPS and it just draws loads of track lines accross the screen to the point where you cannot see the chart and it is running really slow.

Have tried a full reset, no luck.
Any ideas?

Tim'mers.

It may be your chip.
Have you cleaned up the pins.
I had one once that split/partially opened up on me. I sent it back to those very nice people at C-MAP UK and they replaced it for me FOC.
Have you tried another chip?
Another possibility is that it is in the slave slot rather than they master slot on the plotter????

Sorry Brian, ommitted to say that my other chart (Thames Eastury) works fine. Have tried cleaning the pins.

Looks like I am going to have to talk to C-map.
Thanks,
Tim'mers.
