C map card PC interface

Any help much appreciated from the technical experts on this forum… have done a search but could not see any solution to my question.

I Have just brought a Navman 5380 plotter and want to find a simple way of uploading/downloading waypoint data between it and a PC. From what I can see the best way is to get a c-map user card and transfer data from the Navman to the card. I then need a C-map card reader which from what I can see will set me back around 100 quid!

Any other options anyone know about?? With my old Garmin was a case of buying a £10 cable, downloading free software from the internet and off you go…
