there you go billy just what i was thinking you could go anodized aluminium put a couple of vents in it so it looks like it should be there just like the guys say got to be machined proper, got to be someone up there who is a wis with a plasma cutter see you at ERR

just another thought billy
i put these elasticated pockets on mine found them really useful got the pockets from mud stuff off road 4x4 stuff,also have a look at east coast resins they do yellow fiberglass boards 2mm & 4mm i think, so you could possibly match to your console cut and shape to cover the hole center or go full width cut the elasticated pocket to suit they come with some plastic clips you can bolt through the plate to fix bolt or glue plate to console job done and a useful addition to hold the bits that always end up on the deck.
