Delivered to your door! I'd recommend Tanya Batteries. Used them several times and friends I have recommended have used them and never had a problem.

Look for fully sealed. I have this one in my 3.1td Monterey: Numax CXV31MF 110ah and it's a leisure battery so can handle a few discharges too.

Here's some other options too:

Get a your self to a go outdoors shop if you have one near. The sell leisure batteries a lot cheaper than I could find anywhere.

Yep, I got BOTH my Numax batteries in Go Outdoors for almost the same price as my local motor factors wanted for ONE.

Thanks guys.

As I mentioned they have to fit my boxes which are a snug fit in my console, so large leisure batteries are out, and 096 batteries are good, or I suppose something smaller.

I found the Tanya site, very useful, and how I worked out I have 096Rs in there at the moment.

I'll see what Go outdoors have.

Nasher.

First thing, fully charge your batteries (independently) using a good charger at appx 5Amps.

Take a simple voltage reading using a DC Volt Meter set at 20 Volts.

Here are the readings Good to Bad:

VOLT READING CONDITION
12.6...................100% GREEN
12.5.................... 90% GREEN
12.42...................80% GREEN
12.32...................70% GREEN
12.2.....................60% GREEN
12.06...................50% GREEN
11.9.....................40% GREEN
11.75...................30% YELLOW
11.58...................20% YELLOW
11.31...................10% RED
10.5.....................0% RED

If in green a load test should also be done, followed by a starter amperage draw - all done the above done after cleaning the battery terminals and checking starter and ground connections for tightness and corrosion.
