Aerial Splitter (another one)

Hi guys,

Have just read the other thread in amasement.

I have just bought an aerial splitter (Pacific Aerials) so i can run the FM radio on my Aquatic AV marine player from the same aerial that supplies the Icom. But have not fitter it yet.

Is this going to work?

Cheers

Chris B

Yes it will work.

Worth testing the set ithout it in line then with it in.
This will be to see how it does or does not effect your radio.

The Pacific kit is very good.

All the best

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried them together and they do work. However, listening to the other comments, my concern is that continued use of both simultaneously through one aerial, could fry the radio.

Is there many out there that are using a splitter sucsesfully.

Hi Chris,

Think you have been given duff data.
The Pacific is a good item and should not do any damage to your set.
I know lots who have fitted and used this splitter, it is one of the better ones on the market.

All the best
