Zapcat Racing and Cooling Water Pickup

Was watching some Zapcat racing on YouTube and notice how high they run the motor for more speed, some with the prop half out of water so how do they not burn up the motor or do they have special water inlets below the prop.

You'd be surprised how high you can run the motors without cooling issues, in Zapcat racing you're not allowed LWP (low water pickup such as Bobs nose cone). In thundercat racing you can use one but only in the modified class, which is a minority of boats
