Year model of this yamaha? 93/94? 2 cyl
Hi, looking at buying this for my rib.. Mariner just burnt stator.. Looking for interim motor.

This is a 2 cyl, are these 100:1 maybe?

100:1 fuel/oil ratio?

No, that era outboards run 50:1 ratio.

If your breaking in a new power head the ratio would be more like 25-30:1 for 6 hours or so, then 50:1.


100:1 ratio will eventually and quickly burn up the power head, especially when running a WOT.

Not breaking in anything, trying to get some info about this model.. Having a very hard time tracking down carbs for it.. Seller is offering it without carbs for 150 quid!
