Hi all looking for a bit of help, I have a yanmar 6LPA-STZP 315 I am looking for a timing belt and tensioner tried yanmar but very expensive as far as I know it’s a Toyota engine and have looked up Toyota and I can get a belt and pulley for around €200 can anybody give me the comparison part no. or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thank you

Engine is a 4.2ltr Toyota landcruiser engine, just changed the belts on a pair of 420sti's, (Yamaha's but same block) Yamaha wanted £128 each got from automotive outlet and paid £26 each, which is still expensive as there quite small.

thanks for the info I take it they (toyato 4.2) are all the same or should I be looking for a certain year or model? thanks again

As far as i know all the belts are the same so year is not that important, yanmar dealer should be able to tell you the year anyway.
