Yamaha Outboard service in North East England

Any recommendations for Yamaha outboard servicing in the HE of England?

I am in Northumberland and PA Lynch are the nearest but not a Yamaha dealer.

Storrar marine in Newcastle are Yamaha dealers, is it worth going the extra distance?

There's also this independant. Marine Engine Servicing. | Specialists In Marine Outboards & Inboard Servicing For Northumberland And Newcastle.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

How much further is Dundee than newcastle for you?
David Anderson marine (Davie here on the forum) would be the man
Probably worth the extra distance for his knowledge of all things Yamaha

How much do you need a genuine Yam dealer? Davie in “Dundee” will certainly do you a good job but for a standard service you’ll have driven 60 odd miles past the Yamaha service centre at S Queensferry. I’m not there biggest fan, but to tow a boat 120 miles I’d need to be getting something special at the other end.
