Toyota 22100=1C440

Did you get the manual? I have it in PDF format for the ME421STI. I suspect that the warning light and much of the wiring diagrams are similar. I know that the owners manual has a nice section describing the various lights and what they signify.

If you want the manual, I guess I need to send it via email separately.

Is this not the Marinised Landcruiser 4.2TD lump?, if so I have the full workshop manuals for the Landcruiser version. Mechanically they are the same, just different pump & external fittings with considerably more go! almost double in the boat version, partly due to unlimited water cooling.

I would assume your light might be glowplug relay or water in the fuel filter so try draining that off.

Some parts are the same but the pistons big end bearings are not . Glow plug light flashes to tell battery condition
