I did, and many thanks for helping to solve the puzzle!

The gauge manual seems to hint that it's possible by some curious combination of button presses - however the dip switch solution is clearly the answer and I wouldn't have found that without your input.

The manual is wrong!

I took the gauges out yesterday and there are no dip switches.

It was solved by a combination of button pressing - which for knots is simply keeping the mode button depressed until MPH flashes and then hitting 'set' until Knots shows up.

Does any1 know why my tilt gauge is 3/4 tilt up all the time...Yama F115. And the petrol gauge is always on empty despite filling it up regularly!

Prattyboy , assuming the engine does actually tilt ...

look on the " spindle " upon which the motor actually tilts . There may be a plastic clip which bolts up and mechanically activates the sender signal to the T&T gauge . Clip may have broken & needs replacing ?
