Thought that might be out - will have to run out this next full tank to get an accurate figure.
Thanks

I was working today and did a total of 41nm and I used about 55.3L of diesel which I calulate to be 1.35 L/nm.
How does that sound? Good? Bad?

That sounds better.
Took a run over to Campbelltown today - bit bumpy the way over and bumpier on the return.

Hello all
From the Yamaha data sheet 30l/hr at 2800 revs, when we had our Redbay 7mtr with the 240STI running at 3000revs gave 30kn at 1 ltr per nautical mile, the TRP leg will use more fuel than the single prop hydra drive units.
CSR did I see you having a blast round Rothesay bay today?

Hi Callum.
Cheers for this info. That data sheet is exactly what ive been looking for for months now. Where did you get a copy of that?
Yeah it was me in Rothesay. I was working in Loch Striven and popped into the Black Bull for a pint before heading home. Was that your Redbay that was across from mine on the pontoons? (the one in the pic)

The info sheet is from a great article from rib international issue No.92.
Yes that was our rib parked up at Rothesay. We had a run from largs to the Kip boat show then down to Rothesay for a excellent late lunch at the Victoria hotel!

I saw Timerous Beastie (the yellow 7m) having a run on the Foyle recently. She was looking VERY well, considering she's no spring chicken!

Hello willk

The 7mtr Redbay was a great RIB with many fantastic long distance trips! Some pics from 2003 when the RIB was launched!

Has Charles informed you about the plans for the long distance RIB trip!!!
