You're doing alright out of that old Yam at 0.8l/nm on an SR5.4. My old Twatsoo 60/70 2-stroke drank 1.0l/nm on my SR4.7.

For what its worth I worked out its not far off 50/50 between towing and motoring between dunstaffnage & Easdale at 0.83L / nm on the boat - 28MPG towing.

And before you mathematics jump in, there is a non numerical "rather be driving the rib" factor in that "50/50".. -it is chuffing close tho'.
