Yamaha F150 - resetting the 100 hour maintenance reminder

Good evening folks...

At the end of last season, I had the 100 hour service done on my F150, but the service guys neglected to reset the maintenance reminder. I asked them to send me instructions on how to reset it, and they did, but only after they searched for a long while!

I managed to somehow delete the email of course, and I'm embarrassed to ask them to track it down again! Since I am used to embarrassing myself here, I have no hesitation to ask your help!

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Procedure is reportedly in the Command Link Gauge manual.

I'm trying to find an on-line copy of it, in case you don't have it. Not very successful, yet.

jky

Got em:

http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard...ual(Round).pdf

Depending on which gauge you've got.

Maintenance Interval reset is on pg 12 in both manuals.

service

HOLD THE " MODE " button down for 5 seconds . Then select " CAL 1 " which is calibration 1 . Then hold the " MODE " AND " SET " button down TOGETHER for one SECOND . This will reset the Gauge and TAKE AWAY the " CHECK ENGINE LIGHT " off the main display . Hope this makes sense. Barry

It does Barry thanks...

It's not like it's a big deal to "cancel" the reminder whenever I start up, but I assume that the onboard computers are logging that the 100 hour service hasn't been done, which it has...

Cheers!
