Yamaha engine recall

Just dropped into local Yam dealer today with a boat with Yam 250. I was asked if I had the engine water pump checked on product recal as they had not seen mine through their service. It appears my 2008 250hp and also the 2009 100hp need checking so it may be worth anyone who has a reasonably new engine to ask their Yam service agent if there is a need to have it checked.
I could not find this on Yamaha marine site.

Thanks for that.... I assume my Yamaha 150 needs inspecting.

I was told that there seems is a bulletin on the water pressure sensor and the speed sensor on the F40 thru F250EFI.

recall

GUY'S you may be getting a little confused . The recall on all these engineS was the WATER AND SPEED SENSOR'S . These were faulty and leaking with in the powerhead causing salt water to spray everywere . VERY important to GET DONE . I can check your engine if you give me the serial numbers . WATERPUMPS ARE FINE AND NOT HAD AN ISSUE. Barry
