Yamaha Control box..

Hi,
I have just bought a brand new Yamaha 703 control box.. I also have a Yamaha trim gauge and need to wire it up.

I have two groups of wires coming out the contol box:

Set 1 has A green, A Black, A Red, A yellow.

Set 2 Has 3 Groups on it with 2 into 1 connectors fitted: 2 Greens, 2 Purple / Mauve & 2 Reds.

Does anyone know which would go to the Trim gauge as the wires on the gauge are different colours:

1 x yellow with a +symbol
1 x pink with a - symbol
1 x black with a U symbol

Any help much appreciated..
Alex

Is for the tacho.... i'd guess the other is for trim but I don't have PTT.

Black = Ground
Red = Live
Yellow = Live when engine running
Green = Tacho signal

EDIT: More complete list here: http://www.maxrules.com/fixyamahawiring.html

control box

no wires from the control box go to the trim gauge . you need another loom from the gauge to the engine . trim wires on the yamaha's are a pink , black wire . what engine have you got .

control box

ONLY your 12v wires from the control boax will turn the gauge on . the actual reading and sender use a different loom
