They're usually pretty good, do you lose any oil when it tries to tilt up?

The guy wasnt sure to be honest, he said it could be a valve somewhere which is £90+vat alone without fitting , but again he said that might not fix it - I think I just need another opinion before I chuck any more dosh at somethign that may not even be the problem -

I'll check im sure it doesnt all seems pretty dry, and now clean since the strip down and rebuild

Oli, you could take it to Lee Fairweather but he is busy, or try Dean, who Hightower used the other day. Dean is a Yamaha mechanic and is good and cash talks. Dean is at Bursledon, 07749633797, worth a phone call to see what he thinks.

Try posting your prob on the iboats forum. The yanks are usually quite helpful and there's lots and lots of quite knowledgable people on there.
