yamaha 40 2stroke Parts Required

Hi
Flywheel and one piston set of rings 3 off gaskets wanted.Top bearing went causing damage to piston I have done full strip down to the crank assembly
Anyone got any of these spares sugestons please(yamaha 40hmo) 1990 engine,thanks

Are the bores ok? If not you'll need to rebore both sides.

You might find it cheaper to buy another engine or powerhead at this time of year.

Bores seem ok,thought about having them homed anyway,whats included in a powerhead

you can get a reman long block, i got all them parts, but thinkin your too far a way. hone before new rings.

By 'new' powerhead I mean it'd be cheaper to pick up a whole engine 2nd hand that runs ok at this time of year and switch powerheads. Prices are starting to drop. It leaves you with shedloads of useful bits too
