Hi Matey

Ribeye tell me that it should have a 23 inch x 13 3/8 3 blade prop' so I couldn't quite make out your 25 M .... ? I've related that to metric and it bears no relation to 23" (would be 580 mm.

Any thoughts ? K

I believe that is the pitch Kevin. Would make for a pretty hefty prop otherwise! It is basically the third dimension :-) / distance traveled through the water in one rotation if the water were solid etc.

What I found interesting about all these apparently significantly different size and pitch props is the range of sizes and pitches available for the different type of jobs the engines must apparently do.

prop

Hi, i have a 13 3/4 x 19 SST M2 Prop if you keen. It will get your revs up on that rig but you may loose abit on top end. good for skiing though this prop. its second hand and could do with a touch up.CHEERS

Kevin, all these figure are doing my head in. You are welcome to try the units and let me know. I believe the 25 was on my 785 and I also bought the opther one to trial also.

The 785 is due to run into Dartmouth very shortly for inspection like an MOT I guess so I might find out more as I intend to discuss the prop on the 250hp.

If all else fails ask the main man at Yamaha.

What-Ho

This one is not directly for me, so wont take you up on the "try" offer (but thanks !)

Would ask the "main man" if he weren't in Dusseldorf .... !

What do you want for the 25 and I can offer it for you ?

Best K :-)

Inclined to agree re the 'top-end'

Also explained to C2 this is for an industry 'friend' not myself. Care to name a price and I will offer it on for you ? You can PM me if that suits better.
