Yamaha 15 (Follow on from Mariner 15 thread) Dropping the leg - any tips ?

Ok, so finally, I now know for certain that the mariner 15 I have is a badged Yamaha 15. No worries.
I want to drop the lower unit for inspection of water pump etc.
Before I blindly (well slightly myopic) go ahead and attempt it, is there anyone thats done it before.
Seems logical, there is a lock nut and long nut on the linkage for the gear change rod. Is that it ?.. undo the bolts on the lower unit and pull ? or is there anything to catch me out
Cheers n beers.
