Yama 75hp 2 Stroke Oil Mix

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows (via experience or more officially) what the oil to fuel mix is on a 2 stroke 75hp yamaha? Im relatively new to the engine and havent quite worked it out yet as its automixes and so far have just kept the oil topped up but am planning a weeks worth of ribbing with opportunity to buy fuel but maybe not marine 2 stroke oil!

Any ideas?

Thanks ++

It's variable. Work on a ratio of 50:1 as it won't use more than that, but it will use less.

It is 50:1 which is 20ml TCW-3 2 stroke oil per litre of fuel.

I'm assuming you engine is not autolube.

The 75hp autolube pump outputs 200:1 at idle increasing upto 50:1 at WOT. It reduces the ratio at idle / low speed to prevent fouling of plugs.
