I have a Yamaha F225 four stroke. It's the first outboard I have ever had, so I can't compare it to anything else.
It's very powerfull and incredibly quiet, especially at tick over and seems quite economical for it's size.

I did have one problem with the throttle cable jumping out of it's fixing inside the engine, causing it to be impossible to run at less than 4000 revs, but that's now been fixed.

Otherwise very happy with it.

Would that be your preference? Most rib owners I have spoken to prefer the idea of a single engine 4 stroke. I think I am going to go for the new 250hp Suzuki 4 stroke.

You seem to be particularly keen on twin outboards! Any particular reason for this?
