RIVA's coments about manufacturers warranty attitude is very important, I undestand that Yamaha are not very good at this

compared to Etec per 18000 hp how many engines have Yamaha had back,
And considering the Etec have only been out for 2/3 years its not a fantastic
claim. i know there where problem with the 300 HPDI but a like for like HP
200 or 250 how many people on this forum have had problems with Yamaha
2 or 4 stroke or Suzuki's for that matter, it would be interesting to note what faults people have had with what engines and post it. It might be good for other users to know before they spec there boats good or bad, but be positive.
EG i had a new Discovery the diesel ejectors fails no one had the spares i had to wait 5 Weeks for it to be fixed on a car that was only months old Is that good customer service.
