I'd doubt that many FIBnetters are approaching the type of boat abuse delivered in Racing

I can't say I've seen much mention of it on here. There was the unit that Kerny broke - bad casting IIRC. I googled "Evinrude Transom Failure" there's Kerny's case and a some racing HOs. The feedback on Evinrude Owners Forum was that it was rare in their experience.

Lucky for me it was replaced quickly under warranty and yes it was a bad casting .I have never heard of it happening to anyone else on the leisure circuit but there again.. Imogen does get a hammering with all the hours she puts in 😉👍

Don't let facts get in the way, they ruin all the fun.

Bit of a trend going off with this Etec slagging
But speaking to a chap this morning his brother bought a new Humber 18 months ago with a 75 Hp Etec and 2 saddles have broken already so he's swapped for a Suzuki 😯 but his Humber is not good either tubes keep coming off 😳
