That's more than the list price for the remote model!

Have just opted for a new mercury 60hp due to low budget and was following this thread and found it really helpful with an idea of comparison prices.

One bit of info I found out was Suzuki are giving away a free plotter / fishfinder with certain engines over 40hp.... It's an hds5 gen2 which looks good spec for free.

I think that would be my choice too, although it would be interesting to know the cost of NSS's new Honda 50.

Did you manage to get the F60 for less than 5k?

No it was just over 5k. Did a phone round and that was the cheapest I could get. Some were quoting over 6k which was crazy

In fairness, Suzuki also bent over backwards to win the order, but I chose the Honda on the basis of it being marginally (6kg) lighter, the extra year on the warranty, and the price differential of about 300 against the Suzi.

Honda and the dealer will be over the moon if you put the price and dealer on here, ask them. It could lead more engine sales. They never sold you an engine at a loss!

Yes, but it wouldn't have fitted my console and though it may have a list price of 799 they are available online for circa 500. When I said there was a 300 price difference beetween the Suzi and the Honda, that assumed I could recoup 450 from selling the free plotter.

Was the price you paid for the Mercury for supply only?
