Whats required to rig a verado 250

Hi,
I have got the chance of a used 250hp 2006 verado but it is the bare motor ...no rigging or guages .......I already have a seastar hydraulic steering system ......just wondering what gauges, looms....other stuff i would need and rough guide prices for such

I think you'd be horrified at the cost of the parts that you'll need. I would advise you to speak to your local Verado dealer and get a quote for everything, but sit down before asking!

Seconded, Smartcraft gauges when not bought as part of a engine package are not cheap + cables, leads, helm control and batteries. £1k ish.

95% of used outboards are sold that way in the USA. It may appear to be a good deal but unless you boat is already rigged to match the engine it is usually not.

Just to give you an idea, prices from Barrus for the following:
System monitor £230.16
Tacho/speedo £345
Tacho £297
