What w.o.t?

I was out yesterday and met up with a mate who owns a Tornado 5.8 with a Suzuki 100. As he has not got a GPS at present he was interested to see what WOT and how fast he could go. I have a Zodiac pro 500 with a 60 Yam so I expected to be passed quite quickly however after a couple of mins he was still struggling to pass. His WOT was 6000 and according to my Gps we were going at 33.1kts. My WOT was 5500. The question is is that about right for a 100 Suzuki or is it over revving?

Rev limiter will cut in at around 6000 rpm on a DT100. I'd expect it to pull more than 33kts. What prop is it running?

I'm assuming it's a DT100, not one of the new fangled 4-strokes?

As far as I am aware it is brand new with only 35hrs registered. The old one got nicked last year.

That would be DF100 then. Dealer should be sorting this out.
