I swapped the SS on the 200 opti to ally as it was going to run in very shallow water alot of the time...

Was about 10% down top end speed and span up like a BMW in the ice, but you only notice it if you are 'pushing on' really.....

Thank's for the info folks. The US seems to be the place to buy an ali - much cheaper than this end of the world.

The reason for ali is because, as I mentioned above, it's a club boat that will be used for training. I've already noticed some dings on the SS prop so want to replace it quick before someone does gearbox damage

Hi Alt

Isn't that your Parker 630 which is featured on the leaflet for the Shannon River Run?

You might try Steel Developments for a recon unit. Should be sub 75 plus P&P, they're good to talk to - give 'em a call.

Andre - The Parker in question was bought new from you guys for Lough Ree Powerboat School and then sold on to the organisation which I volunteer with.

Being the boaty guy in the organisation I get to deal with all the boaty crap and don't get a penny for it!

willk - Got a decent price on a new Black Max 14.5 x 19 with a Flo Torque hub kit from the states

I thought I recognised the rib in the leaflet being the one sold to Lough Lee.
